This happened on my Ubuntu/Mint machine, CredSSP is a Security Support Provider supported by Windows machine.
To overcome this, just find a way to connect to the Windows machine (eg.: using Windows Remote Connection from other Windows machine, or, Google Chrome has an app for this) then go to My Computer -> System Properties -> select Remote tab and uncheck "Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication (recommended)"

NOT a solution, only a (poor) workaround. Turning security down is never a solution and generally only a temporary solution.
ReplyDeleteSolution is to use package freerdp, for me worked as easy as piece a cake. @Debian Jessie
Thank you Denis.freerdp works for me. I agree with you, disabling security is not a solution.
DeleteThank you Denis. FreeRDP works for me too and your point of view is correct!
